Maybe she copied it the same way you did just to make people wonder how she did it.
I did a little research and found on microsoft word if you go to insert, symbol the characters are there like these: §¿ÐƵÞðŞŒΩ€‡∏∆◊≈∫∞&£¤¥µ¿¿¿¿¿?????? Then all you have to do is copy from word and paste them here.

Find system tools on your computer and go to charecter map. Every symbol in many languages (this is from spanish) can be found there.

Maybe changed her keyboard settings. You can do that if you set your keyboard to any spanish setting language.

she uses ASCII code for that special characters.( ¿ ) just type ALT+168. get it¿
