i got a 94 and a 96 seadoo xp. Both ran like crap last weekend at the lake. We ain't owned them for but 6 weeks and when we bought them the guy said they probably need a tune up. What all is involved with tuning one of these things up? I have also heard about the sea doos being very maintience intensive so what should i be looking for and doing. Both boats seem in real good shape, and appear to be excellent for their age. Another question is on the two stroke oil. the 94 takes the mineral oil and the 96 takes the synthetic. we bought a jug of each for them and when i went to top of the oil injector on the 96 i noticed after the fact that the oil the previous guy used was blue, and this xps synthetic the dealer sold me was brown. Are they the same oil or did i probably just blow the damn thing up. I can tell they were both indeed synthetic by the smell so maybe i am just being paranoid.
