If your Mom is home you really need to be letting her know that you think your are starting your periods. As far as the feeling some girls feel achy all over. Some have cramps down low. You need to have on hand some pads if you haven't started yet, cuz it sounds like you are getting ready. You need to talk to your most trusted female friend if your Mom is not available. Good luck to you.

Most of the time you don't really feel it. Depending on how heavy it is you wear different types of pads for it. When you get it dont wear tight pants cuz if it leaks through, specially when you dont know its coming, you'll bee sorry. But if that happens just go to the nurse(if your at school), teachers will give you a pass, just say you're having your period and need to go to the nurse, trust me she'll help. since mine tend to be heavy, i wear pantyliners and then a pad, for me it works. don't worry though most girls are irregular. If you still have any questions, just ask your mom or an older girl you trust. they'll be helpful.
In general, don't be worried=) After all all girls go through it at some point.

I was told I was an artist at this so I am about to share some things I do. 1. Slow is key - if they are wearing say a skirt, put your hand on her knee and let it ride higher the more aroused she sounds. Do it softly though do not squeeze as if you are trying to take it's blood pressure. 2. Finger nails are awesome - If you plan on doing this the day of the event try and get a quick manicure. Sounds gay but I used to do it once a month. When you feel her leg, breast, or what have you. Switch between finger tips and finger nails. The reason you want a manicure is so that you do not accidentally scratch her with a hang nail. 3. Kissing air - kiss her neck but just before you are about to make contact with her neck just rub your lips across her neck. If you rub your lips right across ner neck you should get some sort of response. Try this and good luck

a period feels different for everyone! some people experience cramps in their lower stomach, back or vagina and are always aware of when they are on, however some dont experience any pain at all and will hardly notice it! you are able to decide what to wear depending on your flow and also what is most comfortable for you. Sanitary towels are more commonly used for your first few periods, although it is up to you whether you want to use tampons from the start! whatever happens it is important you choose the right absorbency for your flow and you should change your sanitary towel/tampon every 4-8 hours!! good luck and i hope this helps!

You'll start to get cramps/bloated, you'll feel icky, and just don't wanna do anything, sometimes uncomfortable, it also sucks and you'll wish it was over! :D normally when you first get it you should wear a pad, if you don't bleed a lot then use a small one, if you bleed a LOT then use one with wings =o I don't really know about tampons, besides that they're better in water ^^

It's no big deal! Don't wear white. And you might have cramps, just get some advil it works quick. BTW: tampons are no big deal, you cannot feel them even if you are not in water. I prefer them to pads.

You don't have to wear anything specific. It can be painful if you get cramps, but other than that it's not that different from a normal day.

it doesn't feel anything unless you're having mentrual cramps. then that feels terrible. but you can always drink pain relief medicines for those. but it'll be awhile before the pain goes away
