What kind of rapper do you mean? There's lyrical mind grabbers (poets) performers (say and do anything to get attention) gangsta and thug ( guys who do not look towards a positive future) and lastly copycats ( rappers who claim they are something that they are not). Freestyle goes to Jay Z and the late Biggie. Poets goes to Common and Outkast. From the heart goes to Tupac. Show men goes to LL Cool Jay (ladies love the lips). Sexy rappers go to Trina and possibly - "freak nasty Little Kim". Picture makers go to Eminem. In my opinion, Tupac, Biggie, Jay Z, Nas, Eminem, Common, Method Man & Red Man and questionable selections Mystical and Ice Cube are in the top 10. Not nessecerally in that order. The Lady of Rage had an opportunity to be listed if she wasn't a one hit wonder.

Rap sucks. Though, if I had to pick, I'd pick one of the old-school hip-hop style rappers (like Vanilla Ice), or possibly Linkin Park (if you'd count them as rap).

Jay-Z. That would be my choice forever. At least on my number one spot. I've followed his music from the time I understood everything. I understood too much when I was younger until now. It is the worlds greatest.
