You need to enable disk usage in Itunes for your Ipod Nano first, believe this is in options. Once you've done this you'll see your Nano as a drive in my computer and there is a notes folder within it. Copy the notes you want into this folder and then you'll be able to read them on your Nano

1 Save a document in any word-processing application as a text (.txt) file.
2 Place the file in the Notes folder on iPod nano.

If you go to the document that you saved as a text file and right click then go to send to..there should be an option that has ipod in it..it should work..
