I need to know where to live. Born in one state as child and had to grow up in another.?

I moved to Florida because of jobs that where available. Now I don't see any jobs. I was a waitress 30 years ago and then went to technical school and working in the compuert for for the last 20 years. Because of the drug deal bust in the 1980 the waitress job are not worth it any more. Because to the tech down turn the computer job are gone, (at least for me). I want a prodominatly Christian community that I will not stick out in. Now days in Florida I stick out. I am light complected. I need a job. I don't think I would like Las Vegas but that the only place that has jobs.

I heard on the radio this morning that Wichita County, Kansas is looking for people to come and live there.

Leoti, Kansas is the county seat, in western Kansas on highway 96. It is a fine small town, the people are caring, and the cost of living is reasonable. Like most of rural America, it's the kind of town where you are greeted by first name by everyone.

Best of all, Wichita County is actively recruiting, offering homes and jobs, and even cash to get you moved.

It is a rural area, and cattle feeding is the main industry after farming. After that, I would expect the schools and hospital and county government, as well as the offices of the telephone company and banks would be the best chances for your employment.

I do not know the contact person, but I would imagine if you were to telephone any ordinary number, like the sheriff's office, the city manager, or the hospital administrator, whoever answers the phone will know where to direct you. Small towns are like that; and I would imagine nearly everybody who works for the city or county or schools is probably on the board of the organization that is offering relocation.
