Oh, and beat the **** out of the guy until he was barely alive...then kick him in the face.
I might also be tempted to charge him with my car too.

Ask him why, was the dog threatening livestock or anyother living thing, or out of your yard? And are you sure your neighbor killed your dog.
If there was not a reason, I think calling the police department is probably a very good idea.

Um...well, that is an odd question. But I have an odd answer. Ask your neighbor why he/she killed your dog. Then take them to an anger managment councler. Finally, kick them in the shin and run. That is what I would do. Except it would mostly be kicking. I told you that it was an odd answer.

Call the Police if you know they did it. If you suspect it only but have no proof or previous calls to Police about your pet / neighbors, you go to the police station and talk to them and see what - if anything - you an do legally.
Illegally, I'd probably want to give them rat poison. Luckily I don't act out my fantasies.

well if they actually did kill your dog, you are going to need proof, and secondly, you should make a police report and call your attorney and sue them for every penny you can get. There are laws against this type of behavior and for animal abuse. Don't let them get away with this, do what you have to do to make them pay for what they have done. Do it all legal..

If you are 100% and have witnesses, write as much information down, date time place reason detail of what/how it happened.
Take the dead dog to the vet tell them and ask what tests they can do to confirm how your dog died. Tell them why you want to know. Inform the police, AVA, SPCA and the news paper.

My neighbor DID do that...i just cant prove it!!! But if i knew for a fact i'd kill them!!! I had 2 labs that never bothered anyone and one was shot and one was poisoned! So mabe id poison them then when their about 2 go I'd shoot em'.

do you know for a fact that they killed it? If so contact your local humane society or your local aniaml control officer and go from there. was the dog a valuable pure bred? if so , they may be liable for paying for the dog.

I would file a police report if it was animal abuse. Did he do it on purpose or was it an accident (like your dog was loose and he was backing his car out of his own driveway or something?). If he did it on purpose, he needs to be arrested for animal cruelty.

My first though was that I would shoot him/ her. But the logical thing to do is to report it to the police and let them handle it. I'm not sure if they can be put in jail but i'm sure you could at least sue your neighbor.
