Its hard to choose, there are many beaches in the United States. My favorite would be the carolina beaches. They include Myrtle Beach, the Outer Banks, Emerald Isle, etc. The beaches there are quite peaceful and they are just beautiful. You can see many things as well. One year we spotted turtles and their eggs. Then there was the year where we saw dolphins merely yards away from the shore. I also like the Florida Beaches (mainly miami) as well as the Hawaiian beaches, since its on a island and it is like a getaway.

The prettiest beaches are
Pensacola, Destin, Ft. Walton Beach and Panama City Beach, FL, along the panhandle of Florida on the Gulf of Mexico. Gulf Shores, Alabama is right in there also. The sands are as white as sugar and the water is beautiful and calm enough to be very enjoyable.

Miami Beach. beautiful people of all ages, nationalites, sizes, especially the older women. the water is nice, not dirty, and it's a BIG beach. my only complait would be that sand gets TOO hot and is very shallow in some places, feels like walking on concrete. That's probably true for a lot of beaches though.

Siesta Key Beach in Sarasota, FL is awesome. It has the whitest, finest sand I've seen anywhere in the states.
Clearwater Beach is very nice and would be second on my list.

i always thought the califoria beaches were the best untill my friend , a surfer from southern california came to visit here in long island... he was realy impressed with the beauty and length of "jones beach" it is geat [ over 8 miles long leading into even longer "fire island beach" and about 1/4 mile wide in some places]: a " carnaval by the sea" in the summer," surealistic " beauty in the winter.. i always knew that but i took it for granted... he was amazed ... which amazed me ...

Malibu is nice. But the beaches in hawaii r perfect, soft sand and clear, warm water
