It doesn't matter - you will get screwed by whoever is in power. Power corrupts no matter who is in power.

Do you mean the Republicans? Funny in Canada we can vote out the ruling party by a no confidence vote but I do not think that the US has any other way of getting rid of the President than by the slow process that tore away every piece of decency like the Re publican's did to Bill Clinton. The terrorists of the world like Osama Ben Laudin saw the way that the press, the Republicans and others in America defaced Bill Clinton and they saw the weakness in America. The top office, the chief, the commander of the forces, torn away and pulled off his pedestal for some misdemeanour involving a mere intern. Remember that Arabs do not put women on such pedestals as we do here in America. Because of this flaw in American politics, they saw weakness which allowed them to attempt the 911 fiasco. So maybe Americans need to re-evaluate how they elect or impeach a President because from my standpoint it was unnecessary and shear political plotting to deface the Democrats simply so that the Republicans could win in the next election. Well look what has resulted and a once fine President was replaced by an oil company puppet.

If you want an immediate election, you can do it through a people's initiative by soliciting a percentage of them required under the law to petition for an election. Another method is a legislative act, wherein members of the Congress and Senate will propose for an immediate election for this purpose.

We did just that. We voted out the bloo job in the oval office "slick willie" and voted in a true leader. Things would be far worse without strength in the White House.

so Paul..are you with "us Canadians" or "us Americans." trying to figure that one out. and what's with this mere intern? what a degrading way to talk about another human being. I guess if I'm not famous, I'm just a mere peon in among the plebes.
As to the question, the other gal had it right. You had your big chance in 2004 and you didn't do it, even with all the cheating.

I'm starting to think mere voting isn't the answer...anyone know any good, patriotic attorneys, that work cheap?
