I think about 8inches cause I have had expeirences with smaller sizes and it not that it didn't feel good it just when I went to ride him it kept on falling out when I would move up size 7 to 8 is perfect I mean if you did missionary all the time smaller would be ok but if you want to experiment more position its nicer to have a longer one width has to be atleast quater size.
