Help me figure out what book this is?

Ok when I was in the 7th grade ( about 7 years ago) I was reading this book, I don't know the title or author, thats what I need help with. This is really gonna be a stretch because I don't remember much about the book lol. It was about this family that ended up having to go into witness protective program, it was a mom & dad & 2 kids, I think a boy and a girl. One of the places they ended up staying was in a redneck trailor park, but they got found out and had to move again. Thats all I can really remember. The cover was black and there was a phone, hanging off the hook.. ugh I wish I could remember. I never got to finish the book, I was at the last few pages when I had to put it away, and someone stole it from me, so I never got to finish it!. Would appreciate any help. Sorry, I know it is really a stretch....

It wasn't a book that was mandatory in school, just in my home room class, we had to bring a book to read for the first 30 minutes. Thanks, I'll try the librarian. =)

if you had to read it at school your teachers might know, or maybe one of your friends could help you with the title (I know I always recommend a good book to all my friends).

other than that all I can suggest is asking at your local library or book store (or maybe your mum remembers).
