I don't believe so. I could see how Elton would've wanted it that way, but Bernie simply got it across that he was flattered but wished to stay straight...
I DO believe Mick Jagger and Keith Richards "spent the night together" at some point...and I'm a Stones fan!

I've seen plenty of shows (like bios) about Elton John that mentioned that they were lovers for a long time. It's been a while though, so I couldn't tell you exactly where I saw it. I know one of the shows was on vh1, pre-reality TV......again, not sure which show it was.

It's so sweet. Bernie was 17 when he was staying at Elton John's mother's home. They say their first hit "Your Song" was the beginning and "Sacrifice" the beginning of the end. Remember they "broke up" for years!
