You are off to a good start. Here are a few things I would change:
1) Get rid of the yellow highlighting
2) Put some useful stuff on the main menu
a) Remove Open this Site in a New Window and any other unneeded links.
3) Move the login higher up in the page

As I said before, you are off to a really good start. These are just a few suggestions to make it even better.

Please don't take this the wrong way, but I think it's ugly. It's very lackluster and bland. Don't misinterperate this though. I'm not saying you should make it real fancy and use flash or anything. I would recommend staying away from tables for positioning and layout. Learn CSS. When I make websites for a client, I tend to redo them at least three times before I get something I'm pleased with. Don't be discouraged, it just takes practice.

Don't spend more money developing your site. It would be a waste. The only thing I would recommend buying is a great book that I bought called "Eric Meyer on CSS". It got me started real fast with CSS. Also, I recommend going to http://www.w3schools.com and reading about semantic and valid xhtml and css. Semantics and validity is what it's all about!

NICE JOB WITH THE BLOG THOUGH. I'm not commenting on the looks, because it's just the default Blogger look. I am commenting on the fact that you have a blog. Google loves sites that have blogs.

Seth Godin has some good website marketing books that will get you thinking the right way about how to make your website get the job done.

For an internet marketer, you should know better than to have a crap design like that, pay someone to make your website look like something.

shouldn't you put your name somewhere on it? I didn't look very much, but do you have a link back to the homepage once you click a link on the website? the webpage looks kinda nice, but try to make it look even better. good luck. =)
