Of course pulling out all of our troops at once is not feasable, but what are some things we can do?

note:I'm not against the war, in fact i'm all for it. Just wondering what else we could be doing about this situation

Get the American people to unite and support the troops and the government. The terrorists and killers in Iraq read the papers too. Everytime someone screams for withdrawal, it gives them that much more courage. I pray that another Republican wins the next election. If we get some "I just think we should talk" Democrat, the insurgency will just escalate. We need to stick to it, give the Iraqi government enough time to gain true control of their country.

They are involved in a civil war and our being there is not doing anything to help either side. The Iraqi people have a right to choose what kind and who will run their government, a puppet government set up by us will never be accepted. 6000 Iraqi were killed in May and June. I wonder how us being there is helping. I think pulling our troops back is the right thing to do.

edit: by the way we are still losing 2 or 3 of our brave solders everyday which is just a shame as it would appear it is a lost cause.

Create 2 countries (ex. North and South Iraq) and separate the Sunis ans Shiites, that will and all the violence and then bring the troops back home.

we must leave our troops in Iraq until they get on their feet with a democratic government and a police force that can stop and control their looting and crime. It would be wrong to just pull out and leave them. Another two to three years would probably be necessary along with UN cooperation.

Iraq is not a problem, the only reason we're still there is, we haven't finished with Iran... we are kinda knocking on their back door right now! All the liberal propaganda you hear, is supplied to those leftest meat-heads via Iran. Those whiners are such tools, they don't even know when they're being used

Police it instead of fighting.

What I mean is: this would force the new Iraqi government to get over it's dependency on us while giving them a sense of empowerment

Democrats like to be detrimental on any situation for the purpose of creating themselves seem extra proper, under no circumstances recommendations that they are below minding our infantrymen and u . s .. Their techniques lead them to seem infantile to boot as stupid and that i imagine the yankee people will comprehend this.
