my best friends 74 year old grandpa (hes itallian)lives in chicago 5 black guys surrounded her and stole her purse but if that wasnt enough they knocked him over and say thats for slavery motha fucka and called him a dirty cracka....these are the reasons im starting to be ashamed to be black whites dont do that stuff anymore so y do we????

Only a small minority actually do this. It was a racist act, but unfortunatly we will never be rid of racism.

Some whites still do things like that. It was racist, and silly. More blacks have ancestry that wasn't slave related than actually were (there was a boom of black immigration after the War). So the potential for their ancestors being American Slaves and needing Reperations is slim to nil, if you even want to argue it that way. Either way, they were wrong, but you aren't them, so don't feel bad about being black. Love the Skin Your In and all that.

I believe racism goes back a long way.

It is evident there are many Afro Americans resented being used as slaves in the past.

Some people may argue that was in the past, but old wounds are hard to heal. Besides, there are also still other white racists around, eg, 3K, and they prolong the wound.

Don't be ashamed to be black. These people, whether white or black, are only a minority.

So, instead of feeling ashamed, I think it is more important for all of us to know about these things that exists in our neighbourhood.

A lot of people feel like they can still use slavery as an excuse to get what they want. It's wrong, but black people do it. White people are still racist in many ways, and so are every other kind of race... everyone is racist. Watch the movie Crash. It makes you realize just how messed up the human race as a whole is.

Because there are too many black people still carrying a chip on their shoulder, in re: to the past (slavery)..... And they feel society owes them something, which gives them this idea they can do what they will for the sake of "getting back", so to speak....

Sadly enough also, some black people are raised this way, so until that stops, there will always be racism, one way or another.

Technically it isn't racism. Racism is the dislike of another race for no reason. they had a reason, so are bullies, not racists. the reason may be irrational and be directed towards race. If you see the movie crash, there is an underlying theme of more than simple racism, it is groups that hate other groups because they blame them for their problems.
The KKK didn't start up because they just hated blacks but because wealthy land owners were using them as cheap labour and putting them out of work, so they vented their anger towards the new Americans as their was little they could do to the land owners.

thats messed up i hate admitting it being a black man but this stuff happens all the time to whites....it happens the other way to whites do it to blacks not as much the only difference is the jewish media wont show a black guy commiting a racial act they will exploit the hell out of it if a white guy does it to a black guy tho... my best friend was white he was killed by 3 black guys because he had a shirt on that had the confederate flag. it was a shirt saying how he hates racism they didnt take the time to read it tho.

Well, your theory is flawed. All people are racist. Some are better at understanding the irrational thoughts they have and others get caught up in the hate. No, it does not excuse their behavior.
Not to say that we can't work to end this way of thinking. But, I believe that this is one of those issues that will be around as long as humans exist.

How come most racists are minorities? They are the ones playing the race card yet they have the most racists. There are 60 black colleges - how many white colleges are there? How many college funds are set up for whites. The same people who scream racism have no problem when it is for thier advantage. Why can't we do like the dahli lama says - treat humans like humans.

It was racist, and when they catch the dirtbags, will they be charged with a HATE CRIME? I doubt it.
Nad if you are a black guy like you lead us to believe, then you should be ashamed and embarrased, but you should also be angry with the prominat black leaders, because they empower that lawless peoples in your society. somebody needs to start talking about morals and tolerance, somebody needs to stand up and be a true leader.
