i have approximately $1,000,000 cash in bank, i don't know what should i do in my life?

i have been working as of programmer for 5 years and i ilke my job, now i got this money from inheritance and i don't know what should i do in my life and how can i set my future goals. (i am confused) what is your opinion and recommendation?

Donate some of it to a child abuse prevention agency somewhere. There's nowhere near enough awareness or prevention going on. People don't seem to care that children all around the world, including the United States, are dying at the hands of their parents or legal guardians. It breaks my heart. It would be nice to see someone care enough for once to make some kind of effort to help the children.

That is, if you're being sincere and not just joking around.

There's my opinion, and my recommendation. I make both of them based upon not only stories I've read and heard, but my own experiences as a child. I know how devastating abuse can be. Had someone been there to help me, perhaps I wouldn't have become suicidal. I'm not anymore, I've changed since then, but not because people cared about me. My life changed because Jesus cares about me.

To have even one person care enough to make an effort is so important, means so much to these children. I can't put into words the relief, knowing someone cares, even if it is only one person.

an inheritance can change so many things like you said you were working and happy now you got this money,some good ideas i would sugest is first make sure your financially secure like buy a house,car maby boat,then once allt hat is cleared up or if you already have those things you could buy an investment property,put some of your money into an investment account so you have extra income coming in,start enjoying holidays go away of a christmas time start visiitng places maby you have always wanted to go to ,get your self a diary sit down one night and just start writting ideas,top ten ideas like frist ten ideas on things you want to do,next ten,things you want,next ten,places you wantt o travel to,and so on,if your not sure if you want to be acomputer programmer any more look at back when you were a child and see what your dream was maby you can now be what you always wanted to be,or hey how about buying your own business,wether it be a cafe or restaraunt,amusement centre or what you liek good luck oh and dont let to many girls know about your money because to many out there who want the $$$$$ and not the love

See a good money planner like axys and they will help you with this great responsiblity. I would offer my services but I was not able to complete the necessary work because of some medical problems. make sure you have a nest egg to fall back on in the future. never know what will happen to where the money will come in handy, dnt blow it all on stupid stuff once you have your nest egg, take a vacation go somewhere you always wanted to go. and if that is not enough look into donating to a worthy organization that hits close to your heart
