If you are just visiting, the above information is correct.
You need a passport, for some countries you need a visitors visa, for all you will need to have proof of adequate financial resources for whatever amount of time you are spending in the country.

To move to another country is an entirely different issue.

In that case, you need to do your research on the country you want to move to. Most have Immigration websites that are quite thorough. Some you can get an extended visitor visa and then apply for residency while you are there, but in most cases, you must apply for residency while you are OUTSIDE of the coountry.

There are various ways of applying ... as a student, a skilled worker, a professional, a family member (if you have family in that country). If an employer sends you to the country, or hires you to bring you to it, they will do the applications, and usually that will get you there quickest, though a student visa sometimes won't take as long as others either, but for that you have to prove your ability to pay all your education financial requirements without working, except for those countries (like australia) that have a student worker visa.

You will need to have someone sponsor you, unless you are going over as part of an employment arrangement, or if you are independently wealthy and can prove such.

Depending on the immigration class you are applying for, and the country you want to go to, it could take anywhere from 6 months to 5 years, even more.

It's not a simple process, but if it's something you want to do, go for it! You will be enriched!!

examine out your visa / immigration criteria so that you comprehend you are able to get right here... For aspects, i will't talk for brand new Zealand yet inspect the northern island (say close to Auckland) is likely nicest weatherwise (Auckland is likely surprisingly on the fringe of Sydney in climate). In Australia, I likely would not bypass a lot more desirable north than Brisbane which may have warm and humid summers (inspite of the actual undeniable reality that the winters are pleasant and not in any respect too humid). in case you bypass to the Brisbane region, possibly inspect the close to Brisbane areas, say Mt Tambourine in the back of the Gold Coast or the likes of Montville and Maleny in the back of the mild Coast all of that are brilliant, can do acreage for horses, have clean air and nature, yet also get entry to Brisbane and both of the coasts / beaches... likely out previous Ipswich to Toowoomba for usa way of existence are not a nasty selection both. Toowoomba is, i'm no longer particular how some distance by vehicle from Brisbane besides the undeniable fact that the bus takes about 2 hours. places like Warwick and Dalby etc can do usa for you... you'll discover places equivalent to Sydney (say going out to the Blue Mountains) and get an same deal...

Get your passport. Also contact the embassy (or consulate) of the country you wish to visit and ask them about their Visa requirements (visas determine the amount of time you may reside in the country you visit. It may be a student visa - or something longer leading to residencey. Different countries have different requirements).
