that's pretty funny that stevepuff19 would say that-- I mean, real bears in the wild are both male and female! LOL! shall we send them a memo that the female ones are a disgrace? omg, that cracks me up!

I have known some lesbian women who call themselves "bears". It's more an expression of personality, not just looks. I love bearish men myself. For those who gross out over such simple thoughts , terms or visuals, may I suggest exploring another category.

i love bears and it would be a disgrace to call a woman a bear. Bear is about MANLINESS. Not just hair or butch mannerisms but all that is man. Vaginas do not fit in there anywhere.

I know quite a few men that are furry and this honey bear don't play with those bears. Un"bear"able. Going through all that fur, one might lose their "bear"ings. I just wouldn't be able to "bear it if they decided to get bare. I'd run.

Um, no. That is exclusively a male label. The closest would be a Boi, I suppose.

I think that it is exclusively a term applied to men..but I'm just a gay white ordinary male.
