Why do guys think they can hit a female??

Because unlike men most women won't hit back! If a man has to hit a woman to feel like he is "tough & stuff" then he isn't a man. I did have a boyfriend that like to hit on me once in a while and unfortunatly for him after the first few times I started hitting back. When he would start these fights more times than not he came out on the loosing end. He had at leat 5 inches and 50 pounds on me but enough was enough after so long and he came up on the loosing end one night and he called the county cops on me after he started the fight and lost. What kind of man would beat on his girlfriend and the have 5 county cops out looking for her? The answer to that is the kind of man who is afraid to start a fight with another guy kowing from the start that he might get his butt kicked! These kind of men fight with women to make themselves feel better about being a puss thats all there is to it!

Because they are on ego overload and have no respect for women at all, then there are the women that tolerate it which enables the abuser even moreso. A man that hits a woman is a insecure coward and needs serious help. I say if your man ever hits you, don't wait for an apology, because it won't mean squat, just walk away, run away and count your blessings you are away from him. If you want to help him, call the police and put his butt in jail!

They think that it makes them look stronger and most of them do it to show the female who has the control i have had many men like that in my life and have had to avoid them all i mean one of them damn near killed me to show me that he had power over me so i punched him and then i left. Men do it a lot of the time because they feel weak and they are seeking out that control and the only way that they can get it is by hitting a woman.

I Believe that respect is part of our up bring and now a days theres not a lot of roll models that can set a positive attitude , it's can go both ways, a lot of women don't have the examples of a healthy relationship, and think that this the way it is, sad I know, I try my best to support my friends weather male or female, it all start with ourselves.

Because he is a big a**hole. no man should put his hands on a woman. I know a guy that use to hit on girls and he talk about it like it's nothing wrong I don't understand that. and he is a good man. and it was in his past but it still wrong and we are not as close as we were before and told me that he hit a girl. guys that hit on women are cowards.

Because they know the woman has very small chances of hitting back with enough physical power. A guy wont hit a male even if he is very angry most of the time because he knows he might get his *** kicked. It's a psychological disfunction.

i never got hit persay. My x pushed me while i was pregnant and did no damage thank god. But when my youngest grew up and my son from a diffenent realationship got abused i decided to leave. just remember if you are going to get hit then so will the kids. men==or butt holes want controll of ourlifes. they think that they are boss and well b s not true .

because when a women and a man is married he thnk he own her and he can control her . if she don't want his tell her he can hit on her , but i think when a women get hit by a man the first time she should leave him then
