I do think Israel is using excessive force that is killing a lot of innocent Lebanese though.

With that said, Hezbollah and Palestine are constantly trying to do harm to Israel. Israel has to constantly defend itself and keep it's guard up against their threat. So, Israel is not the terrorist.

You don't see Israel trying to do those things to them. I think Israel is just fed up and this time Hezbollah is going to pay dearly. Hezbollah has bitten off more than it can chew and is going to regret this mistake.

The people that are calling Israel a terrorist state have NO idea what they are talking about for a few reasons:
1. Israel did not start this in the first place. Hezbollah captured the 2 Israeli soldiers and started this whole thing.
2. Hezbollah will not compromise with Israel officials, so Israel has to defend itself and get their soldiers back by bombing.
3. Israel is not the only country that is bombing. Hezbollah is bombing back!

i agree. if a nation attacks you, and you fight back, that doesnt make you a terrorist. that makes you human. it only appears that israel is the badguy here because lebanon is such a weak nation and israel's army is rediculously strong. israel has never ever used terrorist methods in warfare. israel doesnt kidnap soldiers, use suicide bombs on innocent victims, or chuck rockets into residential areas. it may appear that israel is acting ruthlessly but that is how the media portrays them. this war is very strange in that israel is moving forward and attacking sparse guerrila fighters, very weak defense, not a "lebonese army". Lebonon cannot really defend itself, and wastes alot of their manpower on offensive rocket attacks. if lebanon was not prepaired to defend itself against one of the gratest armies in the world, why did they bother with an offensive attack on israel. its only a matter of time before israel completly crushes lebanon. hezbollah really didnt think this one out. its also a shame because this situation is really painting israel as a much stronger force beating a defenseless people. the lebonese are a defenseless people, but maybe they could be fighting the israeli army, not murdering innocent israeli people. they could actually protect their country if they stop instigating israel by chucking more rockets. hezbollah is just speeding up their own demise.

Some people are calling Israel a "terrorist state" because it's a very, very young country built on someone else's land. If I came to your house and occupied half your yard, and I justified it by showing you some passages from someone else's scriptures, wouldn't you be pissed off?

Israel is a mess (actually the whole Middle East is a mess) created in large part by European countries having imposed artificial borders on other people they knew nothing about.

Maybe because those who do know a bit more about Israel and it's tactics and practices than you do. Might do you some good to do some research - say into the Palestinian settlement issue that the news media won't give fair coverage to. Ever wonder what might be hidden there?
