My brothers is 17 and i'm about to be 20 years old. I'm about to get out of the states care. My brothers is still in the states care but they want to keep him until he is 24. He has alot of problems and they don't think that he would be able to do things on his own. so i want to try to get custody of him so that he want have to go through all of that. I have a little girl and i do what i can to get everything that i can for her and my self. i'm about to start going to college to get my RN LIESINCE. i really would like to have my brother in my care.

look in the phone book yellow pages for an attorney that gives free consultations. have all your questions written down because they usually only give you 15-30 minutes. see at least 2 or three of them and see what they say.
you can also call your local legal aid society or bar association and they can give you recommendations.
you will probably have to prove that you can care for him properly. Think this over well. I know as a sister you want to protect him and take care of him, but you also owe it to your child and yourself to get your college education. It may all prove very difficult to handle alone.
Perhaps speak to a clergyman or counselor or just a mature person who's opinion you trust to give you and outside opinion.
