good question Thinker! I have re-written this answer many times because I dont want to sound arrogant, but my basic interview(ee) technique is that I know that I have knowledge and qualities which would improve the industry to which I applied and if they dont choose to employ me then it's their loss. I know I am smart, hard working, good time-keeper , willing to learn etc etc

That does sound arrogant, but it works for me, and subdues rejection!! lol

Why get a job when it is Just-over-broke? Say you worked 5 years for a company, what do you get? 5 years of salary I assumed. But what happened if the company decided that you should go? You gained nothing.

Why not spend 5 years developing your own business? If you are with me, click on link.

No, you need to learn to sell yourself not with how other People would do that. Practice in front of a mirror.

Becuase the position that I am applying far is one more goal in my five-year plan. I applied to this company and this position, becuase it is what I wanted. My future is with your company, though I can promise you it will not always be in the current position you are offering. I have set goals for where I want to be, and I am willing to do all that is needed to achieve those goals. When you hire me, you will be hiring a highly motivated individual. All you need to do is set me loose in the area where I am needed most, and I will not disappoint.
