I think metaphysics has to do with the details of the relationship between the material existence and eternal spiritual existence.

Metaphysics is not merely one aspect, various "theories" are classed as metaphysical. usually i imagine the load of evidence lies on the claimant so until eventually they arise with some surprisingly convincing info i don't have time for them

I dunno, physics keeps me thinking enough that I feel no need to go beyond that. When I figure out everything about the physical universe, I suppose I'll take a look at the metaphysical.
