Just wondering if I need to buy some type of disc to download my internet history and throw away? I'm not very computer smart. I delete stuff in my history but does this get rid of it permently? Any advice appreciated.

Hi. To erase history no additional software is required, unless you have some kind of web tracking software / adware on your machine.

Just Click on Tools on the explorer options and select internet options; then click, delete cookies, delete files and erase history. When you delete files, just click the box so that all offline content that were stored when u browsed, gets deleted. Nothing more...

In case - you feel that net is still hanging up... then use anti-spyware. Popular ones are MS Antispy, Yahoo Antispy and the old and good spybot.

every time you go on the internet it adds to the computer history. To solve this try clicking on tools > internet options and change the days to keep history to 0. If you want to delete your history click clear history. It also helps to click delete cookies and delete files. Also click the content tab and click autocomplete. clear all of the forms and passwords. There will virtually no way someone can see where you've been.

Rekeman's answer is correct but if you ony want to delete some of them you needto go to your temporary internet files
