I kind of forgot how to do this but the problem is (3x^5-4x^4+x^3-3)+(3x^4-5x^3+3x^2)

3x^5-4x^4+x^3 -3
+ 3x^4-5x^3+3
--------------------------
3x^5 - x^4 - 4x^3

You need to put some spaces in the problem... Yahoo truncated it because the string was too long.

For what you've got so far:
3x^5 - 4x^4 + x^3 - 3 + 3x^4 - 5x^3 = 3x^5 - x^4 - 4x^3 - 3

(I assumed that the three at the end was part of 3x^(something) because there was no end parenthesis.)
