Well since it is symptom free then a good physical and EKG and sometimes a treadmill and ECHO..important to know that if you do experience chest pain, shortness of breath, back pain, jaw pain, or other symptoms that are worry some then see the local ER and they can determine if intervention is needed..As a ER nurse we were able many times to prevent injury to heart muscle by giving medications or taking the patient to the cath lab and giving medications through the injury or a balloon into the vessel to open up the ischemia so it didn't become a permanent injury..

ischemia = lack of blood flow.
treatment is from simple to complex. lets look at simple - like breathing oxygen. next dissolved aspirin under the tongue or nitroglycerin tablet. continued ischemia can result in injury to tissue, followed by infarct (heart attack).

ischemia may be demonstrated by chest pain or angina pectoris. home treatment is not the best thing to do for ischemia or anything that follows it. however if you are totally doctor and hospital phobic, have no insurance, and don't really care if you die or not, then home remedy may be to your liking.
