Hi, I am from there. It's a great place to visit. You really must go to the night markets and visit the national parks. Shopping is great because you can find both cheap and luxury goods. The food is amazing too in that you can find local fare and western food easily. While in Taipei City, you will find it easy to find your way around because there are English road signs.

Yes, I went there to visit friends last month.
I really enjoyed it.
Racing through the streets on motorbikes, so much fun.
The food is great in Taiwan also. They have a good selection of western food if you're fussy.
Shopping is good in Taiwan too, so if you are planning a trip, be sure to take lots of spending money.

Yes. The night market for food are great. There's a place selling all the cheap clothing called 'wu fen pu'. The party place not bad too one of the hottest disco called ' luxxy'

I lived in the Taibei area for two years. It was a lot of fun to be there. Great food, great people, easy to get around.
I recomend that you go up on the MRT to Danshui for at least a day!

Yes, been there a few times already. Cities for shopping and eating. Outlying areas are quite scenic, especially in the central mountain range area.

Yes, I have. It's a great place to visit. If you go, I recommend going to Taipei City and also Toroko Gorge near Hualien.
