Seems to me that missiles are being fired in both directions and hell is descending from the sky in both countries. Why are people jumping out of Lebanon and not Israel?

Because no one expects Hezbollah (not Lebanon but a military group within Lebanon) to be able to cause the damage and injuries and death toll all over Israel as Israel has and will continue to undoubtedly all over Lebanon. As it is now, there are 500,000 people displaced in Lebanon, Israel has struck everywhere in Lebanon, and all the roads have been destroyed as well as the airport made completely inoperable from continued shelling. No one can get away from the war in Lebanon, as the Israeli Prime Minister has declared "no area of Lebanon will be safe." The foreigners HAVE to be evacuated.
