Its POP3.yahoo.com and SMTP.yahoo.com but Yahoo's POP mail is not free.

Yahoo no longer gives out POP3 and SMTP access to email free of cost. Even if it did, you would receive at least about 30-40 emails on your system everyday which are mostly advertisements and you'll be out of disk space very soon.

However, if you decide to sign up for their paid service, you have a very reliable POP3 and SMTP service. You do not receive the advertisements and junk mail. Though I'm not on their paid subscriber list nor do I subscribe to any other email provider apart from my ISP, I would say that it would be worth it. This is because you would never have to change your email address again even if you change your ISP or move to a different location altogether.

Well you no longer cannot use outlook express and ms outlook to check your yahoo email account. But if you have a gmail account then definitely u could use it.
Incoming mail server for gmail is : pop.gmail.com
Outgoing " " " " " : smtp.gmail.com
