To use the 85 Ethanol you will need to get an adaptor kit for the engine. Just yahoo ethanol and you will come up with the companies that you can get it from.

For pure ethanol, you need a high compression engine 13:1 to 16:1 For a blend, you just need to adjust your timing and make sure that all your seal components are not damaged by exposure to ethanol. All cars made after 1985 can run 10% to 30% ethanol with no problem.

No you really do not need to do anything to your car's engine, Gasoline already has a 10% mixture of ethanol as required by federal law.
