"Tightness" is common in asthma and is your body's way of telling you that you are not getting sufficient oxygenation. If you have an atomizer/inhaler; use it! If no relief is attained, you need to see a doctor as you might require a breathing treatment, an injection or even a course of steroids. If you don't have an inhaler, then you need to tell your parents now so you can get to the hospital for treatment.

Since you don't list how old you are, my serious suggestion here is that you pay a visit to your gp. Chest pains with heaviness should never be ignored. There is no way for anyone to tell without a proper exam what is happening to you and based on my own experiences with both thyroid (hypo) and cardiac issues, I would say ignoring these symptoms is the worst thing you could do. I found that it took a long time for my thyroid medication levels to be just right and I know for a fact that thyroid conditions can do a complete reversal (from low to high and vice versa) when the medication is at the wrong dosage. Even if its just for peace of mind, get yourself checked ASAP. Good luck.

that's a very serious problem!!
i would def have it checked out by a doctor cause you could have a heart problem. also of coarse it def could be a lung....
and u don't want to play around with asthma...go asap to a doctor
also have u ever thought of a chiropractor? because that could help...u might just have a pinched nerve and that's blocking something to the lungs and is making it harder to breath fully
hope this helps a little

...Could be an allergic reaction to something. I would definitely go see the DOC about it. You don't want to play around with not being able to breathe. It could be your asthma trying to flair up again. Maybe your house is too dusty or You are allergic to your pet's dander.
