Al Gore is a good man. An honorable man. This however does not matter in american politics.
It is the culture of american politics.
it really is only about half the country.....i don't have to say which side.
If you were to judge him without knowing him or his background your left with only what little you remember from the presidential race.
Basing the future on the country on how two oppents frame each other or charaterize.......
the choice for the less educated was
Texas Bumpkin vs Knowit all Washington Poliitican.
i'd rather have the knowit all behind the "red button"
These people saw a politician who lost, by association they distance themselves and join the bandwagon of the other.
They repeat the soundbytes of whole internet thing, instead of looking what he really said. it didn't matter, the truth doesnt matter to the right wing.
In american politics right now there is a serious problem, almost cult like of the echo chamber......the talking points, the talking heads all send out thier messages and it becomes repeated until the truth no longers matters.
There is a group that stands to lose if we reduce our engery use or switch to smart fuels.
the group that stands to lose is also represented by a political party, they must constantly repeat the lies distortions in order to fight thier oppostion.
TO sum it up, Republicans create a echo machine of distortion, they repeat distortion until it is the only thing anyone hears.
If they stop, they might actually have to think about Gore or his cause ...
If they stop and think they will feel guility for letting the supreme court choose the president.
.......thinking isn't the rightwings strong points

Several reasons for AlBore's being so disliked.
1. He will not go away. The custom in American politics is to disappear from the public's view once you've had your shot at the Oval Office and failed OR served out a term in it.
2. AlBore is a bore. He is the ultimate geek--humorless, self-fixated, know-it-all and basically ugly.
3. AlBore has a huge ego-problem.
4. AlBore is inconsistent--child-like. He is clean-shaven/has a beard/has a mustache/back to clean-shaven. He is unemployed/is a college professor/is running a TV show for kids on cable/is CEO for a radio network with two stations/is producing environmental films in which he is the star. And so on and so forth. People want consistency in their leaders. AlBore is anything but consistent.
5. He is a loser and people get tired very fast of those who are losers and remain losers.
6. He is a pseudo-intellectual. He actually doesn't know very much about anything except what he has been handed a script about to memorize. Even his article in Scientific American were ghost-written.
Enough on AlBore.

Because he really isn't a very nice man. He has taken up a cause that has not been determined to be fixable, yet he wants to throw a lot of money into it. It takes a lot more than an environmentalist wanna be to be the president of the united states. Then there was the business with his fund raising and the Chinese. hmmm....lots of business was done with the clinton/gore camp and the Chinese. It's a trust thing.....and we just don't trust him to have America's best interest at heart.

hes a phoney baloney like john kerry and ted kennedy and bill clinton and barbara boxer and barbara striesand and george clooney and jeanine garafolo and all of the many liberal idiots out in the public eye who feel that their celebrity [if you can call it that] gives them a soapbox to stand on and spout vile things about the president and the republican party. he got beat in the election by the electoral voting system. liberals call that murky. also dont forget he invented the internet. remember him on tv last month with that idiot howard dean waving the white flag in the background. let me tell you something, america dosent run away. the left pressured us to leave vietnam when we were killing them and now they want to pressure us to leave iraq before the job is done. they are trying to do it all over again. its all so they can say we lost and then they have a chance to win the election.whats bad for america is good for the democrats, and whats good for america is bad for the democrats. when america fails it helps them politically and i know there is a large percentage of them who want us to lose this fight. al gore is one of many...

Personally, I have a tremendous amount of respect for PRESIDENT Gore. He has devoted his life to making the world a better place.
A sharp contrast to the Connecticut Yankee faux cowboy who stole the election so he could make his slimy oil buddies richer.

He is a stiff buffoon. The only candidate he even looks good in comparison to is Bush. He's never held a real job in his life. His wife crusades against the evils of ... rock and roll. He grew up in a hotel in Washington DC. He's out of touch.

I don't hate him...I think all who are like him should be let out of their padded cells once a day and allowed access to the Internet that he invented! but if he starts those annoying repetitive farts while on TV again I think they should give the audience nose pins. I mean it's only right.

First, throwing around the word hate reminds me of a child that doesn't get their way, so can we dump the word please? People may not agree with Al Gore both politically or on the enviornment that's all. On a personal level I find him extremely boring. Thanks

Where were you when the election was over?
He won the popular vote.
He just lost the electoral college vote.
Don't you remember a republican judge decided who was to be president.
Not us citizens.
