The old highschool days of flirting are over. Now I'm in college. Do I act my age? Usually not. But there is this girl in one of my classes who is smoking hot. I think I'm in love with her. The only problem is that she sits way on the other side of the room and there is about 50 people in there. She looks just like one of those girls that I like, but I don't know how to approach her. It seems awkard to just talk to her out of nowhere as we are going out of class esp. after we never met before. Any ideas?

First of all, move to that side of the room if you can (unless it's assigned seating, which I doubt in college). Then you can start slow by picking up a pencil or piece of paper which she'll undoubtedly drop. If you're on the same side of the room, you can just make a casual comment about the class or lecture afterwards to spark up a conversation. Don't make it difficult. Just start a conversation about the class or what class she has next. You'd be surprised what the girl will say afterwards. Eventually you can ask if she has a boyfriend. (If not, it sounds like you're available.)

Be an asshole...seriously...that will get her attention...don't compliment her or give some cheesy pickup line...if she is really that hot then she has heard them all...from many other guys.
You need to give her a backhanded compliment as you arrive or leave class...casually strike little conversations with her. Get to know her alittle. Ask if she has an email...or maybe just try and find her on MySpace...then tell her you noticed as you surfed around that you noticed her on MySpace from class...then there you go.

In my opinion i think the boy should ask out the girl but that is because i am from Chicago and that is what we usually do here but then some relationships are ruined because the guy is to shy or they girl is to shy in my school we have boys and girls and the girls usually talk to the boys and then the girls usually talk among themselves same with the boys. I'm not shure if this helps it might be a little unclear but that is my opinion.

Haha, ask her for a pencil. Then sniff it as she walks away lol. Then make a shrine with it on the top lol jk jk. Umm... start a conversation about the class with her, talk about your next essay or something, then mention a nice coffee shop around the corner and ask her if she would like to join you. *smiles* That should work. Remember not to drool.

take inicitive!!! you only live once and you gotta do it good the first time. Here goes, be confident (not arogant) stay calm and remember she is a person also. aproach her, introduce yourself and ask her if she wants to get some coffee or somthing with you. keep eye contact , smile, be polite, and it never hurts to have a nice compliment or two ready.

Just do it next time she is there just say I like you do you want to go for a Coffee but also you think your in love with her but have never met spoken to her settle down mate and take it easy looks are not everything.

Well you should start a cassual conversation first and get to know her a little better before you just ask her out. It might be hard but you have to become more of a friend before you ask her out.

you know ,if you miss a class,you can ask to her if she can let you borrow her notes and or the homework assignments.Yes ,you really don't have to act all mature because you are in college.Just use your common sense.Trust me on this one,Make her feel comfortable when you are talking to her.Also ask her genral stuff like"what is her major","what high school she went too " and stuff,be nice, try to be a friend first.If you can, try to sit in her row,near her.Start talking to her,and ask her for the notes if you are unsure about something!

Like, can you SIT NEXT TO HER next time y'all have class?
that way you can walk out together, and say something like "I woke up for THIS?" (if its a sucko lecture), or if the lecture was cool, you'd say "Glad I woke up this morning, that was..." whatever things you young-uns say nowadays that mean "great".
And who says flirting is over--I am a sucker for witty repartee, and some well-thought out compliments that arent overtly sexual in nature.

just be cool, and walk up to her in the hall and introduce yourself, if u like her then take a chance cause u never know when some guy might come up and snatch her up. just be cool and don't lay any pick up lines on her, cause i bet she's heard them all.
