That's easy -- because having a gun is still legal. Not to mention easy to get. Who are you referring to specifically?

The gun control issue is pushed by some politicians because they don't want average people to have weapons. The framers of the constitution acknowledged the right of average citizens to own weapons because they saw that any government can become corrupt and oppress individual freedom. The only way to prevent this is to allow the population to be armed. It is a matter of control, that is why many people are in politics to begin with. They feel that they are better suited to run our lives than we are. But they also know that there are people who may try to kill them for their position. See, they are still controlling the guns, only people who protect them are allowed to have them. Most people don't seem to understand that our "Right to bear arms" was put there to protect us from the government. So, fear tactics are used to try to remove guns from the general public, while the "superior" politician can do as they please.

First of all, Gun control is a fascist idea, and Hitler was the first one to be successful at it. Now think about what he did after it worked for him (if you don't believe me it doesn't take a lot of research to find that out). Next, think about our government, we don't want an uprising now do we? haha. Honestly if I was in the publis spotlight day in and day out with everyone knowing my every move, I would want some body guards too. There are some crazy people out there that I wouldn't want to deal with. Besides it's all a secret agenda, once we're disarmed we can't fight back and they can throw whatever laws they want at us and do it at gun point if they have to. They really couldn't be more open about it, people just won't open their eyes to it.

Because politicians don't really support anything or have any beliefs whatsoever. They only say the things that will get you to vote for them. And you can't very well vote for a dead politician can you? That's why they have the body guards.

The armed guards' guns are registered to them. That's a big part of gun control.

by your question, you create an extreme in which gun control mean no guns at all.

you create a false arguement in this extreme, meaning you frame the question
in terms
of gun control vs complete freedom
or rather no use of guns ever vs. no regulation.
the real choice is smart legislation vs no legislation.

your statment demonstrates a lack of knowledge on the issue.

i am not your mom and and not going to lecture you on the subject.

when you know what your talking about ask again.
