I think this question over-simplifies this issue.
First, we must recognize that there are many diverse people that live in Israel. Jews, Muslims, Christians, Atheists, Baha'is, etc. To suggest that the Jews should leave is rather Anti-Semitic.
Additionally, there is no place to which the Jews could go to be safe while not experiencing injustice.
Regardless of those large issues, the Jews are entitled to stay there. That's their home and their Holy Land.
Even if the Jews did leave Israel, this will not restore peace to the region and provide them with safety.
Far more important than placing the responsibility of this conflict on the Jewish people is recognizing the necessity of having peace be a mutual goal of all of the Middle East. Perhaps this sounds far-fetched, but humans are capable of the most remarkable things, even achievement of peace in a tumultuous region.

You should ask why all the surrounding Muslim nations which are thousand times bigger than Israel can't just leave that small bit of land alone.

Palestine is a country with no land, surrounded by Arabian countries. Why doesn't Palestine find some real estate else where. The only good moslem is a dead moslem. Maybe this will reduce their count a little.

precisely. after all, moving won't be foreign to them as there'd been the jewish diaspora since eons ago. but honestly, the public, both palestinians and israelis, have no problems with each other. what (or who) should be banished are the "terrorists" or extremists and the ruthless governments on both parties.

Because when the US and Britian conjured up the Balfour declaration they were to greedy to offer up their own territories and those pushing for it wanted palestine. So in the end they got palestine basically for free and by confiscation.

They did move--to the place where they originally came from.
I can move to Georgia today, if I want to, even though the US government moved my ancestors to Oklahoma. Now, you were saying something about how Jews couldn't or shouldn't move to the land of their origins?

Umm... to *where*? Also, they wouldn't because they're in the holy land, and that's where they think they were meant to be.
