Id have to say the cast with Chris Farley,Adam Sandler,Spade,Rob Schnider, Mike Meyers was still on it for awhile and Phil Hartman was still there...Funny stuff back in those days and they all made it,..Oh and almost forgot Norm Mcdonald on the news!

I like the cast you mentioned.
However, I also like Will Ferrell, Cheri Oteri, Jimmy Fallon, Horatio Sanz and that bunch.
I think the new group has promise! Some of the video shorts like "Taco Town" and "Lazy Sunday" are hysterical.

I loved that cast they were so original and nothing was ever boring. The new cast ans show sucks big time its not even really funny
