Instead of anti bushism shouldn't we be more concerned with the fact that we couldnt find anyone better to run against him and win?

I am not anti-Bush, but neither do I blindly adore the man. I voted for him for a few reasons, but it was a no-brainer, really. Kerry was a joke for a candidate-after all this time, I still have no idea what the man wanted to do as President, no idea what he stood for. When the Democrats picked him, I was shocked-surely there was a better option! But whether we hate Bush or love Bush, it's all pointless-the man was re-elected, he'll be here until 2008, so why complain? As a nation we should be focused on more important issues than bashing our President.

Bush didn't win. It was rigged (twice -- the first time it was Governor Bush who appointed the Judges who decided which votes would count). In many Democrat states (and seats) there were not enough voting booths and in many republican states there were lost of booths, in states that were swing states there were numerous irregularities with voting machines. The CIA needed Bush (remember his father was once head of the CIA) to win. After-all you don't switch horses in the middle of a race (read war). America was Duped! I'm not saying that Kerry was any better but at least he didn't dodge his military responsibility when he was called upon. He was just a fall guy.

Reasons to hate bush:

He's:
a liar
greedy oil man
can't think for himself
a fear monger
a war monger
(after 6 years in office) he still can't say Nuclear (pronounced "new - clear" not nukuler)
he's a patsy (Cheny & Rumsfeld are really running the show)
he won't listen to reason (when dealing with other nations)
he doesn't care about the environment
he's a coke head (his daddy got the charges dropped)
he was AWOL on numerous occasions during his time as a member of the civil defence corps.
he has spent more time on vacation than on the job

why not hate bush?

Point well taken. The dude is so beatable. He can barely debate and both Kerry and Gore proved this, but did so to such an extent that people felt sympathy for Bush. Gore charges Bush's podium in a moment of complete insanity and loses a debate that was his to lose and so he did. What was he thinking??

And in 2004, I was outraged that my party couldn't do better than John Kerry. I told my Democratic friends, during the Iowa Primaries that there was no way Kerry would make it and there we are in November with the one candidate who can't beat Bush. Hard to believe, but the Democrats found the one guy.

Howard Dean, who has passion and fire, gets painted by the "supposed" Liberal Media as a nut job, because he tries to rally support with a passionate call to action. Bush can barely put two sentences together and yet it's Howard Dean that is the crazy guy.

We live in a bizarre nation. Now we have to hope that a Democratic candidate will arise that has what it takes to whip that chucklehead Frist and the wayward McCain, who is selling his beliefs for the support of the radical Christian Right.

Shame on you McCain...I would've voted for you dude....

Why hate Bush?

Because he's a moron with a big bunch of weapons and a large army at his disposal, and he has a phenomenal ability to dismiss common sense at a whim and an even more uncanny knack for lying to the people and continuing those lies even when it's just obvious they were lies - and expecting people to still believe HIM over the facts. I'm also saddened that there are still people out there who don't believe he's a liar when he just keeps getting shown as one time and time again.

We had two fine candidates running against him, one of whom actually WON (until the Supreme Court decided, literally, that no one actually had the *right* to vote, and therefore they could order an end to the recounts), and the other who was mercilessly smeared, slandered and libeled into oblivion by lying pigs (my apologies to pigs).

Bush is a meglomaniac with delusions of grandeur. He's a nutjob, a butthole and a danger to civilization.

Do you need some more reasons, because I do have them...

People better did run against Bush that would have been much better But it is hard to beat someone who manages to get contested election results decided by a court that has Judges that were appointed by his daddy and it seems just too much of a coincidence that one of the states that is contested just happens to be the one that your brother is Governor of

I find it interesting, the millions of average fools you find out there are willing to insult bush, but when offered a chance to change things for the better, they'd rather just sit back and watch things get worse. I personally think from my opinion that people in America really don't care if bush acts like an "idiot", most of them are idiots themselves for not trying to prevent such things.
Seriously though My chart for the people who hate bush is this

%45 :DoucheBags
%20 :Radical Socialist
%15 : People who don't know what their talking about
%10 :People who have nothing better to do
%5.5 : Intelligent People
%4.0 : People who wish they knew what they were talking about
%.5 : People from an Anarchy Society

I think you raise an excellent point. It is time to get over hating bush. It's a forgone conclusion that he is a f**k up.

Better to focus energy on a better replacement and fight off the very real and serious attempts from the right to take over the country.

Why hate Bush?

He's a mass-murderer who has ordered torture and rape, and is a sniveling, lieing, thieving traitor to his country.

What else do you need?

I think the thing we most need to work on is ensuring legitimate elections wherein registered voters are allowed to cast their votes and have them accurately counted, and computers do not get to vote at all.

And what would that solve? It's in the past. Shouldn't we be more concerned that thousands of young men and women have given their lives to a meaningless and endless war?
