When I first moved into my apartment (part of a triplex) I was overran with cockroaches, disgusting. I tried just about everything but nothing worked. I finally asked a professional and he said that I needed to get some roach pruf. I think that this is the correct spelling. Phonetically it is Roach Proof. I went to a local hardware store and bought some and I am here to tell you, not only did it get rid of my cockroaches it got rid of them in the other two units as well. It is a powder and I just sprinkled it inside all my cabinets and especially under the sink. I don't think I even used a 1/4 of the can. I did leave the opened can under the sink so this may have helped keep them permanently away.

You probably need to use a roach fogger to cover your whole place. I live in an apartment and had a bad roach problem a few months ago. The company does not keep up it's pest control program. I got to talk to the extermination tech (Terminex) and he said to fogg the apartment every three weeks during a 3 month period. That keeps up with the hatching cycles, now I use roach powder for maintainence. Once a week I put down fresh powder and spray under the sink and cabinets. Most importanly, you have to stay vigilent with maintainence, roaches are opportunists. They seek food and nesting spaces.

Try Bengal brand roach spray. I once had really nasty upstairs neighbors in an apartment building. When they moved out the roaches moved to my apt and my next door neighbor's. They were awful!! After trying Raid and boric acid, I used the Bengal and never saw another roach.

Boric acid should work well, but it doesn't work if it's gotten wet. Another good product is Ortho Max. You follow the directions to treat the perimiter of the house, inside and out. You might want to set off bug bombs after you do this, for a double whammy to get everything really cleaned out for a fresh new start.

I got super results with the gel from COMBAT. I been in the rental business for 20 years and have yet to see anything near as effective! It comes in a big syringe. I recommend a three prong approach using baits foggers/sprays and traps. Some roaches seem to develop an immunity...three prongs.
