Well, you don't tell what type of infection and where, however this should not stop your period at all.

The above answerer is wrong, a yeast infection won't stop your period.

I am assuming the infection is 'down there', as you don't say. I would stab at a quess and say no, you will still get your period. If you require antibiotics, start eating honey now. If you are itchy 'down there' you can dab on some watered down 'apple cider vinegar' for some relief. You might also try a frozen piece of ice, apply this by holding with your fingers on the itchy parts, until you can stand it no longer. Or, alternatively apply pure coconut oil to the area for relief. I say try the coconut oil last, as it is quite expensive. Good luck.

It shouldn't but then again where is the infection? If there is a blockage due to the infection, maybe. Antibiotics will help

If you have a vaginal infection. Esp. Pelvic Inflammatory Disease than YES. Go to the Doctor.

it shouldnt, but go to your obgyn and find out. let them know what your concerns are, and tell them whats going on.
if they give you anti-biotics, ask them for diflucan as well, it will help you from getting a yeast infection after the antibiotics
