These are my choices for college upto now.... what would you prefer and why?.... maybe you can help me decide.... its just that i want to study and perhaps singing and that wont make me use my brains and could be difficult to start working... diplomatic may be too serious, and a doctor? too many years... its too hard!! what do you think...

NOTES
1- im not dumb
2- i know about singing and dancing, its not out of the blue
3- i love helping people

The problem is these are all very different, but all vocational (as in something you must really, really want to do). I don't think a web forum is the right place to choose.

Music has less job security than the other two.

The Diplomatic service would accept you with any good degree - you could then study what you wish at Uni and go into a secure career. You will need high grades and a willingness to travel though.

Well, if you want to be a doctor or a diplomat, your writing needs to improve.

You listed quite a variety and range of professions. All of them need discipline and hard work. It's up to you. It's your life. You decide.

Remember, you can always change. Life offers many opportunities.

I taught for a while in college. One of my students was a ballet dancer. She went on to become a doctor- a Pediatrician and used her ballet experience to help young children who had orthopedic surgery. Think about it!

I suggest you take up DOCTOR. If you are; you could use your singing and dancing skills in entertaining your patient. Its an advantage for you. And you could be a diplomatic doctor if you want. SO there it is ... the 4 choosen options combined into one.
You like helping .... certainly you could HELP if you are a DOCTOR.
Too many years? as they say ... you have to sacrifice something to be able to gain something meaningful and worth treasuring :)

Diplomatic is an adjective, Diplomat is a noun. I would think you'd want to be a diplomat. Good choice.
