I'm trying to look past the typical flowers / candy / jewelry stuff. I want to get something cool! Something she'll actually like. Any suggestions?

They make these really cool glass and metal hanging ornaments now, that you can put in any room to jazz it up. They are the best gift I have ever gotten for a no occasion kind of occasion. Most are colored glass orbs wrapped in ornamental metal and they hang, sometimes up to 3 feet down from the wall or ceiling. They are great outside too. Oh, you can get them at places like Wicks and Sticks, boutiques, places that have funky little do-wops, maybe even Spencer's Gifts, or Hallmark. Here in MO we go to Gadzooks. Good luck.

Get something unexpected. My bf got me a rubber duckie because i love ducks. He also gave me this ceramic box he made. Good luck!

Get her a goldfish...or a pretty sort of fish. Not one that's going to take loads of looking afer, but something nice so that when she sees it she thinks of you
