But I don't like going to the doc. I feel uncomfortable when they touch me. I also feel offended when they ask me about my periods, etc.

Anyone else feel that way, too?

I am an MD. The things we ask are VERY personal, but try to remember that we are just being scientific and we are just trying to help. I think you should try going to see a female MD. This might make you more comfortable. Also, once you go through a pregnancy and delivery, you may also find that all modesty and embarassment have dissipated.

Sweetie please, go to the doctor if you feel that uncomfortible take your significant other with you in the exam room. All problems need to be addressed nomatter how small. Because if you keep waiting you may only worsen your situation. so swallow your pride and go. Oh the personal questions are a part of the exam. How can they exam you if they do not know any history. that is private information so do not worry about it being ion display. Do you prefer a man or a woman? Go from there and find your preference. You will be fine. Just go!!!!!!!!1

well, it's the only way to help your problems.. i mean you don't want to keep asking yahoo for your personal problems. everything the doctor asks you and you answer is confidential. they can't tell anyone.

BUT if you think your doctor is touching you inappropriately, then maybe you should change your Dr.

How old are you? I used to be that way too, ESPECIALLY when I was 10-13. You'll get over it, you need to go to the doctor regularly.
