Yes, it's a free country and if they want a myspace they should have one. But I do believe that they should be monitored or something. I'm a teenager myself and I've been on some of my friends and fellow classmates myspace pages and I've seen 13 year old girls posing in their underwear and posting them for the world to see. I definitely don't think that's right and I'm sure they're parents would agree with me. Plus, there's so many lunatics on the internet, you never know who's reading all your private stuff and seeing all your private pictures. And now I sound old. But I'm 17 and I don't have a myspace.

No, I think its a bad idea. My mom is a Principal and she has told me stories about myspace...don't get one. Almost anybody can find your myspace. It's like a chain, for example, someone has a friend,who has a cousin,who lives next door to someone,who has a younger brother, who goes to school with your friend's sister. If they all have a myspace (which is possible because myspace is very popular.) they can go through their "friends list" and eventually find you on your friends "friend list". It sounds impossible but trust me it can happen. A lot of the people are on myspace to make friends and talk to there existing friends, but there are still bad people who look for look for vulnerable people, with bad intentions, trying to make friends with strangers. It's not a good website.

ir has its ups and down, for instance, yes it can be dangerous, but it is still a good place to connect with friends that may be long distance, and use their creativity and imagination, to make all kind of cool web page designs. its something they can do and be proud of. HOWEVER, I also believe that parents should monitor thier childrens myspace for inapropriate content. parents should report any unusualy and suspicious content from other users that is directed towards thier child.

Well its cool the first times you use it .. but then it gets boring. no offense. Its Not that dangerous but it you should make it private so no freaks other than ur friends can see ur myspace.

depends on your definition of a teenager. are we talking 14 or 18? big difference! simply put i feel myspace is for adults. just because a minor can have their profile set to private does not prevent them from viewing explicit material.

I have one and i agree its dangerous but some teen can be really dumb and believe everything they are told
My profile is set on private and i only have people that i know. And i all met them face to face. Teens just have to be safe!
Another thing is that i think its a good idea that colleges and jobs look for the people. It show what kind of people they are hiring. I would personally give them my address. i have nothing to hide and my profile is clean.
Also teens choice. we can veiw nasty thing or not. i choose not to view those kinds of things.
Teens just have to be careful on who they talk too.

i agree with you...i have one...but i don't talk to strange people on there...only my cool and best friends...I love them all. Yes I have myspace that is what i was talking about. i have it cuz of my friends and I get to chat with them!

and then my mom heard all about it and cut me off...myspace surer does suck out alot of time
