OK. It's only been a couple months over a year of marriage. He takes it off, puts it in his wallet, puts it in the car, puts it on the bathroom sink, etc. He says there's nothing going on (I believe him 97%~the 3% is due to the fact he used to leave it in the bathroom...now he puts it where I won't SEE if he's not wearing it, maybe just to sooth me?) My rings are beautiful, I wear my wedding ring on my pinkie (I'm pregnant) and my engagement ring on my ring finger (it's a larger size) plus they mean a lot to me. I feel naked without them, not that naked's a bad thing! Do you think letting him taste his own medicine (he's a doc, pun intended) might solve my problem? I wish it didn't frustrate me so much but it burns me up and he won't stop.

First let me say you should never "try to teach him a lesson by giving him a taste of his own medicine" This isn't 3rd grade. That said, THEY NEVER GET THE LESSON ANYWAY!LOL. Some men just don't wear jewelry and don't have the romantic attachment you do to the rings or don't understand the symbolism. Some have jobs that rings could bother or injure them (mechanic, fisherman, factory worker etc) And then there are those that take off their rings when they are unfaithful. Have a conversation with your husband and calmly let him know how important it is to you that he wear his rings. If you have other evidence or feelings of infidelity, then consider leaving him. Take it from someone who cheated (several times) throughout the marriage. If they cheat, they don't stop. I hope it works out for you. Good luck.

I don't like the fact that he doesn't wear his wedding ring. If he didn't want to wear it, he should've specifically told you that he didn't want one in the first place. A married man who refuses to wear his ring is up to something. I'm not sure how you will find out because he says it's nothing, but keep your eyes open and watch him. Don't allow yourself to be treated less then the very best. Good luck to you!!

taking off the wedding ring is a serious thing, and i think he should respect the marriage enough to keep it on, if you think it will work then yeah, but it wont make him jealous, cause you are pregnant, pull it when you get your figure back

Don't lose sleep over this. Some guys just don't like jewelry. Some, like myself, don't like having things on our fingers when we type. Base any concerns you have on his behavior, not whether or not he's wearing his ring.

I agree with ur mom that you shouldn't take them off......HOWEVER, what's good for the goose is good for the gander...if he is "allowed" to take his ring off....go ahead and take yours off.....wear them on a necklace around your neck if you feel you need them close for your sake.......but wear them inside ur shirt so he can't see u have them........
