my boyfriend and I have been dating for about 6mths. now and we are lost on the value of the weekend. If we can not find something to do we just stay home. I need help, I can not stay home any more, I would like to enjoy the summer. Have any ideas?

GO TO the Zoo!! it is pretty fun i think they have like two zoos around chicago. have fun though!!!!♥

Really like the Magnificent Mile. Walk along the lake or the river is nice. Go visit some houses designed by Frank Lloyd Wright. Tons of things to do in Chicago!
I have recently read a nice book "never a city so real" about Chicago neighborhoods. Well worth reading.

Navy Pier has live performances and fireworks every Sat. and Wed. You two can bowl, play pool, watch tv and have drinks at Lucky Strikes. Lots of nice nightclubs downtown and up north. This is not a hopeless situation for the two of you. There is always something fun to do in Chicago and if you and him can't find anything to do, you're probably just a naturally boring square. No offense.

i believe each and each and every of the musuems contained in the city have free days in the course of the 365 days. some have faster or later a week and some have once a month. look at the web website of the museum you're fascinated in going to. once you've been to the significant ones already there is also the Mexican fantastic artwork museum, the Chicago historic society, and the DuSable musuem of African American historic previous and many many smaller museums besides.

Take the el to Chinatown. Do some shopping. There's a wonderful tea shop, you can get hot or iced teas. Bakery with heavenly cookies. Several restaurants, with fantastic food. Lots of stores, fun and unusual things to look at and buy. It would be a fun day.

The museums used to each have a free day a week. Try them. Also, Navy Pier is fun if you are a tourist. While you are there, enjoy a dinner cruise.

go see the bean at millenium park. downtown is always fun and interesting. hang out there for a day.
