Yes, just look at any of the so-called "converted" or "Ex-Gays." They are still gay, since they were born that way. It means nothing just because they are no longer currently acting on their true nature and orientation.

I often wonder what kind of mental trauma builds up in such people, who are forced by society or "loved ones" to live a lie. They must have INCREDIBLE stress levels.

I'm bisexual. I came out to my family when I was 34,and dating a lesbian. I dated exclusively women for 2-3 years. Now,I happen to be with a male. I love both sexes, but feel since I've got a small child,it's easier, least for me,right now,to have a "straight" relationship. Perhaps if this doesn't last,I'll date women again, but not until she's much older, just too much to have to explain to a 5 year old,you know. Maybe that makes me weak,I dunno, but I'm worried about her,and I do love this man I'm with. So,technically,I suppose,I'm back IN the closet, lol

No, but I did try to stay with a girl and I did have kids. I always knew I was gay, but my family are Baptist and forced their religion down my throat. I have been with my other half now for three years and am happier than ever. I never felt right with a female. I do get my kids every week too, btw, and love them very much.

I think that's called "intervention." Some people thing homosexuality is a disease that can be treated. So they take their gay subjects and put them in these brainwashing programmes and some end up being "cured." It's all cr@p. Something like the colour of your skin, it's something you're born with; sometimes good, sometimes bad, but still something you've to live with until you die.

Being "contained in the closet" means that no one is conscious you're gay. you need to be out of the closet in extreme college, and then technically, you should bypass decrease back into the closet once you went to college, because no one there is conscious you're gay. in case you outed your self in college, once you purchased a job, you need to be contained in the closet back, because, back, no one is conscious you're gay anymore.

Wow. Read some more of the questions and answers here from some actual gay and lesbian people. Your question reveals that you have no concept of who gay people are (what lifestyle are you talking about?) or about the concept of "coming out."

I'm glad that you want to learn, but your question defies an answer.
