Justice in America is only for those who can afford it. Sad.

Nope. This is just one more way ordinary people are screwed, and the only compensation is that lawyers can then charge *same* said ordinary people an arm, leg *and* their first-born too just for the almighty privilege of taking a corporate entity to court, where the CEO class and the politicians they own can then piss and moan about Tort "Reform" and how much Punitive Damages suck.

I know, I flipped your Q around a bit. :) Sorry about that, but what is true of the system when the RIAA sues *dead grandmas and Girl Scouts* over music that *should have some Fair Use Rights*, is also true of the same system when it shuts folks out of *suing* the RIAA, suing HMOs for deliberate negligence, and suing *lots of folks in general* for refusing to obey the *LAW* that is the Americans With Disabilities Act....among other things.

There is "justice" in America all right, but only for "just us", meaning the filthy rich, One Percenter class usually, and/or the Big Media, HMOs, and Politicians they own. Really, the same legal system that lets the RIAA *publicy abuse and attack the elderly and children* also lets so-called "Not for Profit" Hospitals *sue* former patients and clients and have them *put in jail* over not being able to pay *exorbitant* medical bills (yep, talking about Provena, right here in Champaign Illinois, right at my end). I mean hell, what are they going to do, *reposess* their health care? This is what the jail term boils down to, exposure to *prison rape* meaning exposure to HIV and Hepatitis C....

Can you say Cruel and Unusual Punishment? Can you say de facto Debtor's Prison? I thought so.....

Lawyers....you'd think with all the education they get, some of it at *our* expense even, that they'd know how much society hates them and actually *do more* for the public around them.....but I guess baby needs a new Ferrari worse, huh?

The average Joe Schmuck has no legal rights. Legal rights are only available to those who can buy them (finance a lawsuit) in a court of law.
