i have the yahoo mail "you have a message" icon on my yahoo home page and when i turn on messenger. any ideas?

i forgot to say. when i got to my mail there is nothing there. i have tried installing messenger and all my mail features. everytime i go back to it it still says there is a message there

eerrr. brookie. perhaps you could read a little more. do you think i would be struggling with working out what a message icon meant. even a chimp would have the forsight to at least press the button if they saw it flashing at them. i am assuming you you don't actually know the answer of my query and are just settling for mis-spent mockery and 2 points on your counter.
