If you have been taking the pill regularly you shouldn't ovulate. That is how birth control pills work. They surpress the body from releasing eggs. Of course there have been people who get pregnant on the pill, so anything is possible!

No you do not ovulate while you are on the pill. The pill fools the body into thinking it is pregnant. The hormones in the pills do this. That is why they generally tell you that it may take up to a year after stopping the pill to get pregnant. Your body needs to readjust. Some of course get pregnant faster.

Yes, you still ovulate when you are on the pill. The pill can throw the timing of anything off until your body gets used to it.

YES!! you still ovulate!! but the pill gets rid off the egg just as it is coming out of the ovary. the timing is the same unless you skip or miss a pill

No, the purpose of the pill is to make you think you are pregnant thus preventing ovulation.
