First and foremost consult your OB with any concerns. Secondly, you actually should increase the amount of times you eat through out the day. It's usually suggested to eat five to six small meals a day. When I was pregnant I gained 25 pounds in the first four months. Somehow I only gained maybe five to seven pounds after that. It was kinda like my body leveled out. Keep in mind that everyone's body is different. No one woman on here can tell you one pregnancy weight is ideal than another. As long as you doctor is okay with what's going on, you shouldn't be alarmed.

slow down on the eating hun! or start eating less fattening snacks. Morning sickness is a b*itch but excessive weight gain will be a nightmare.
they say 25 pounds at full term is average, but i think thats even way to much! ( i gained 11 pounds by full term)
u can still exercise when ur pregnet, take more walks and do some light aerobic program, but stop eating all the time!

No no no no no!! if you keep gaining like that you will end up getting toxemia and being put on bed rest and then you will gain MORE weight! and then your next pregnancies you will get toxemia again and again. Your first months you are only supposed to have gained like MAYBE 4 pounds. after that You will gain a pound a week. you still have 5 months left. jes cuz your prego doesnt mean you need to eat n eat n eat. Im bout to have my baby in like a week and my eating habits never changed. i didnt eat more nor less and i have gained jes the amount i was supposed to.

if you are underweight your supposed to gain betwen 35 to 45 lbs
if you are over weight your supposed to gain between 15 to 25 lbs
if you are average your suposed to gain between 25 to 35 lbs

You might want to slow down on the eating. Its actually not healthy to eat alot during pregnancy. Just think about it, at 4 months the baby only weights about 1.5 lbs. Your uterus is about 3 lbs. and the excess water weight is about 1 lb. That doesnt equal up to 15 lbs. Do yourself a favor, eat in proportions. One of the reasons for your nausea could be the foods you eat. Your still early on in your pregnancy. Everything makes you sick. One thing that could help you with nausea is popsicles. They helped me.

The average American woman gains between 25 and 35 pounds during pregnancy, but only 7.5 pounds are baby! Wondering where the rest of that weight goes?

Here's how it measures up:
Fetus 7.5 lbs.
Fat, protein and other nutrients 7 lbs.
Increased blood 4 lbs.
Increased fluid 4 lbs.
Uterus 2 lbs.
Amniotic fluid 2 lbs.
Breast growth 2 lbs.
Placenta 1.5 lbs.
Total 30 lbs.

If I were you.......I would start an exercise program...you do not want to get to big but you want to stay healthy.....you could go to your park and walk each morning or evening...When I was pregnant I bought a video to do @ home it was very good....I would also get on my treadmill....I gained 25 lbs with my first didn't exercise at all.....with my second child I gained 15 lbs and they both weighed 7lbs....You need to eat healthy for your baby the most important thing!

first talk to your ob. second don't listen to some of these people. i uderstand that you are ONLY suposed to gain 25 lbs when you are pregnant. but that varys between people. when i was pregnant with my son i gained 75lbs, eating right. my son was 9lbs. less than a year later i was under my pre preg weight. listen to your body. if eating makes you feel better, eat! don't be worried. you are pregnant, don't be worried about the weight as long as you are eating healthy. stress causes more problems than a few extra lbs.
